Since I was a child, I have dreamed of being part of a church where I could experience real biblical fellowship. For me it began to come true when I found Calvary Chapel back in 1995. It is such a joy for me to see what God is doing in and through Calvary Chapel here in Romania.
One of the clearest examples of this for me is the pastors’ fellowship that we have once a month. Every time we meet I count my blessings and tell the guys that I’m really “stoked” about our times together.
Why do I say this? Well, because I’ve been a part of other pastor fellowships in the past but have never felt the Spirit of God in our midst like I do now. For me our meetings are a time of refuge and comfort where we can really share what’s on our hearts, especially the struggles and problems we go through in our ministries. It’s a time of openness and accountability among brothers who understand what you are going through because they are going through the same things themselves.
It has been a great pleasure for me to see God work in our monthly times of worship, fellowship and prayer to draw us together as brothers in unity, purpose and a growing love for one another. There are lots of things that lay ahead of us in the future, things that God has prepared for us as His servants here in Romania. For that we need all the prayer, love and support we can get as there is a great battle that’s going on against us but “greater is He that’s in us, than the one that’s in the world.”
Again, it’s a great privilege to be a part of all that God is doing in Romania through Calvary Chapel and I am so glad to be among men that have devoted themselves to serve Christ in this country.
