Q: How do people join Calvary Chapel Bistrita?

We do not have a formal membership procedure, as anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ is already a member of the Body of Christ. However, Calvary Chapel’s Pastor is considered to be the Pastor over those who attend consistently, who are acting upon the Word as it is taught, who are sharing in the financial responsibility of the church through tithes and offerings, and who are sharing the spiritual gifts God has given them with others in the fellowship as and when God leads them by His Holy Spirit.

Q: What is your Church Government?
A: The Pastor is accountable to God to give himself to prayer and the teaching of the Word (Acts 6:4), so as to lead the church towards a life that is pleasing to the Head Shepherd of the Sheep, Jesus Christ. The Pastor is also accountable to and meets regularly with a board of elders, to pray over and discuss those means that will best serve the goals of the church as stated in Acts 1:8, 2:42, and 2 Corinthians 3:18.
