Calvary Chapel School of Ministry
Purpose & Vision:
We desire to see each student at CCR School of Ministry totally committed and abandoned to Jesus Christ, while being separated from the world and the fleshly life of self.
Our vision is to see each student conformed into the image of Jesus Christ, thus having the life of Christ living through him or her by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 12:1-2; Phil. 1:21)
Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." (Luke 9:23).
We desire to see each student grow in godliness and holiness. (Rom. 8:29; 2 Cor. 3:18; 1 Pet. 2:4-5).
As all of us reflect the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, we are being transformed into the same image with ever-increasing glory by the Lord's Spirit. (2Co 3:18)
We desire to see each student set free by the truth of the Word of God and equipped by the Scriptures for fruitful service unto the Lord. (Ps. 1:1-3, 19:7-11; Jn. 8:31-32, 17:17; 2 Tim. 2:15)
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
We desire to see each student develop the humble heart of a servant, allowing the grace of God to shape and strengthen his or her life. (1 Pet. 5:5; Eph. 5:21; Titus 2:11-12; 2 Tim. 2:1).
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” (1 Pet. 5:5)
Mission & Ministry:
Because Jesus said, "go into all the world", our vision is to reach the nation of Romania and the world for Christ. From our unique location in the capital of Romania we have the advantage of offering our students first hand exposure to the "front line" mission field. The spiritual needs of Romania are great. State run churches and legalistic theology have considerably weakened the Romanian church. There is a real need to see strong equipped Christians helping to establish healthy Christ-centered, grace filled churches.
To fulfill our vision we will commit to see each student as unique and endeavor to meet their individual spiritual needs, making sure that no student is left behind. We will provide solid Biblical teaching and involve them in local ministries wherever God leads and the door opens in the various cities and villages of Romania. We are more concerned with the students being disciples of Jesus than with filling their heads with knowledge.
